Mood and tone of quinceañera text

This story has 2 moods, because the story changes according as it advances, but the only things that did not change it´s the tone,  the tone remains the same. At the beginning we can see a mood of sad (but just a little bit) because she wanted a a party as her sister had, but as her father lost his job, she did not get, by the same reason, she did not get the cellphone that she wanted. But when she received a recipe book, and her grandma explained her about what she can do with the book and where this book came from, she changed her mood to interested. We can see the tone does not esplained us a lot about some things, that´s why I infere that the tone it´s misterious, because we don´t know if she at least recive the cellphone that she wanted, also the story does not esplain us about the reaction of she after her grandma explained her what she can do with the book

Questions about quinceañera text

At first we can see that she feels sad and a little bit angry about her party because she wanted a party as her sister had , but her father lost his job, so, she didn´t have it , she only wanted one thing for birthday, a phone ,but as her father lost his job, she didn´t get it too, instead she received  a recipe book that came from family inheritance, after her grandma explained her more about the recipe book reason and where this came from, she changed her attitude, passing from indifference to curiosity
When she changed her attitude about the gift that she wanted, we can see that the most valuable gift it´s not the most expensive, the best gift it´s so simple as a recipe book

Sumative test part 2

It has been more than 5 months, I hate how they trate us, why they gotta be so rude with us?
Tomorrow a group of Kabyles are gonna help us to escape from our hell, They´re gonna hide my family in a van, we´re gonna escape to the south, They told us, "nothing is gonna happen" and "everything is gonna be okay", NOTHING is okay, I´m sure that If I do not anything  now, later, everybody are going to die.
(Next morning) We escaped from hell, I´m so happy, Kabyles are our brothers from another family, they are not only our friends, they are our family
When we were hiding in the van, I heard a conversation between the soldiers.
The next week they´re gonna kill everyone.
Now, I´m hiding with my family in Paris, I was scared when a officer, stop the van in the main street of Paris, but, for my surprise, the officer, was our friend, because he helped the Kabyles to help us
We were hiding 3 weeks in a basememt
We took a boat wich left us in a island, the we took a canoe,
We were 2 days in the sea, now I can rest easy, my family is safe, I´m safe and it´s time to start a new life, I know that it will be difficult, but not impossible

Summative test part 1

The story "The Grand Mosque of Paris" talk about the discrimination in France to the Jews in the World War II, but the Kabyles (a group of Muslim that moved to Paris, because the economy of their country went from bad to worse)  were not discriminated as the Jews, and the Kabyles helped the Jews because they felt that the Jews were like their brothers.

But, how this history can be related to key concept of this unit?

Easy, because this history talk about a connection too, the connection between two different cultures, it was like a social connection, because both were discriminated,and when the Jews were sent to concentration camp, the Kabyles helped them to escape to the freedom

We can include the key concept "creativity" because the ways that the Kabyles created to help the Jews were already creative, hey created a method in that the Jews can escape from the Concentration camp without the guards be noticed, we also can include the key concept "culture"because, basically the Jews were discriminated just because they were from different culture, just because they were different.And the Kabyles felt from the same culture as the Jews, that´s why they decided to help them.
